This podcast presents specific learning disorders (SLDs), with a particular focus on screening for and managing impairments in reading, commonly referred to as Dyslexia. This podcast was created by Liane Kang, a third-year medical student at the University of Alberta with support from Dr. Lyn Sonnenberg, a neurodevelopmental pediatrician at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital in Edmonton.

Part 1 of this 3-part series on single ventricle physiology presents an approach to the management of tricuspid atresia in a neonate. In this episode, listeners will learn about the anatomy-associated anomalies, pathophysiology, and clinical presentation of tricuspid atresia as well as an approach to its diagnosis and management.

This podcast was created by Dr. Harry Liu, a dermatology resident at the University of British Colombia, and Sara Choi, a medical student at the University of British Colombia, in collaboration with Dr. Wingfield Rehmus, a pediatric dermatologist from BC Children’s Hospital and professor in the Department of Dermatology and Skin Science at the University of British Columbia.
